The Moiré pattern:  (mwah-RAY) -- this is one of the most difficult types of marbling to master.  It involves making a Stone Marble on the surface of the size, then printing it in Spanish Wave fashion, but on paper that has been carefully folded or wrinkled.  After is is marbled, the paper is flattened out again, but it still has the effect of folds and drapes in the pattern.
